Right around NFL Draft season, a lot of college stars get a reality check. AJ McCarron is getting a reality show. But not if you ask him.
The journey towards A.J.’s July wedding to Katherine Webb will be the subject of a new show, and apparently for some people… that’s a reason to go. AJ jumped on Twitter to let folks know they’ve got it all twisted: “I think it’s funny how people think I am doing a tv show. I play football that’s it. What my future wife does is her business. #worryaboutyou”
First off- that’s one of the best hashtags I’ve ever seen. Worryaboutyou should permanently trend as a life lesson to losers. And that’s pretty much what you are you if you honestly think that AJ McCarron is looking to become a reality star.
We’ve been watching this dude for 4 years- does anything about him scream The Situation. He’s been all about a Crimson Tide dynasty. Not Duck Dynasty.
Now Katherine? EVERYTHING about her says reality show. Because she’s already been on one. And I don’t’ remember AJ crashing the show and kicking it with Louie Anderson and T.O. while his lady did Diving With the Stars.
She’s got her brand. He’s got his brand. They’re both thriving. He’s NFL. She’s TLC. And I imagine this show is going to be a lot about Katherine picking out dresses and working the seating chart. This isn’t going to be Keeping up With the McCarron’s. And there’s not a player on the board with LESS character concerns. You should know that by now. And if you don’t, just Worry about You.
